Wildlife Experiences: Walks, Talks & Trips

Wildlife Experiences with Sean

Join vet, conservationist and wildlife presenter Dr Sean McCormack for guided nature experiences in London and beyond, from beaver walks at Paradise Fields to twilight bat walks and small-group wildlife adventures abroad.

See wildlife through a vet's eyes

There is nothing like seeing it for yourself: a freshly gnawed willow, a bat flicking past at dusk, a toucan in the cloud forest. On Sean’s walks and trips you will get expert knowledge, behind-the-scenes stories and plenty of laughs, and you will leave seeing your local patch differently.

Guided beaver walks: Paradise Fields, Greenford

Walk the UK’s first fully public urban beaver site with the person who led the project. You will see the dams, lodges, ponds and channels the beavers have built since 2023, learn how they have reduced flooding and brought in new wildlife, and hear the full story of their return to London. Walks are run with the Ealing Beaver Project.

Bat walks in West London

Where it all began. Ealing Wildlife Group started in 2016 with Sean’s bat walks. Grab a bat detector and discover the pipistrelles, noctules and Daubenton’s bats that hunt over the River Brent at dusk. Sean’s public bat walks are taking a break at the moment, but private and group bat walks can be arranged on request.

Costa Rica Wildlife Adventure 2027

In 2027 Sean is leading a small-group wildlife adventure to Costa Rica, in search of sloths, toucans, hummingbirds, frogs, crocodiles and more: a chance to explore one of the most biodiverse places on Earth with a vet and wildlife photographer as your guide. This trip is now fully booked, but more are planned. Join the mailing list to hear about future trips first.

Private and group bookings

Looking for a nature walk for your school, company away day, community group or birthday? Sean can run bespoke guided walks and talks.
